Anthony Johns joins InJet as the vice president of sales and marketing

West Palm Beach, Fla. (April 1, 2009) – Anthony Johns is in the pilot seat—at least when it comes to sales and marketing. InJet (www.injet.com), a Florida-based private jet service provider, has named Johns as the vice president of sales and marketing.

Johns comes to InJet with more than 15 years of aviation business experience and currently heads all ACP Jets aircraft management sales.

“Anthony is extremely accomplished when it comes to aviation business,” said Suran Wijayawardana, InJet’s chief operating officer. “He’s successfully headed the sales and aircraft management teams of industry leaders and has a proven record of taking companies to the top.”

Previously, Johns held the regional sales manager position with Jet Aviation at its North American headquarters in West Palm Beach. Within six months, Anthony attained the top sales position for Jet Aviation through the sales of charter services and aircraft management while also contributing to Jet’s marketing and program development.

Anthony’s aviation experience also includes lead sales and operational oversight of charter and aircraft management of helicopter services for both Liberty Helicopters and ExcelAire in the Northeast. After a successful run as a founding partner of Blue Sky Aviation, he brought his experience to New World Aviation in the development of an offsite facility and operation. That project’s first year earnings exceeded those of any previous year.

Through the years, Anthony has also been a contributor to several developmental projects, charter card programs and consulting efforts within the aviation industry. Anthony’s development, negotiation and relationship building experience are a key component to the creation of the InJet Program.
